Very responsive staff. Always a pleasure using LobbyTools to track the legislative process.
LobbyTools Defaults to 2014
Now that the House & Senate are filing bills for the 2014 legislative session, 2013 statutes are published, and committee members are appointed, LobbyTools has defaulted to the 2014 legislative session.
All bill search functions, folder views and legislator profiles will
default to 2014, the upcoming legislative session. Changes include:
The "Find 2014 Bill" field located on the left-hand side of the LobbyTools Tracking Tab will now take you directly to the appropriate 2014 bill.
All bill searches on the "Bill Search Page," which is accessed by clicking on the "Bills/PCBs" link in the upper left-hand corner of the Tracking Tab, will now be defaulted to 2014.
All legislator profiles will default to show bills and amendments sponsored and co-sponsored for the 2014 legislative session.
All folders views will be defaulted to show 2014. Please note that LobbyTools automatically archives bills from previous sessions within your folder -- you don't have to create new folders for each session.
How to View 2013 Legislative Session Bills
To find a 2013 legislative session bill, go to the "Bill Search Page" by clicking the "Bills/PCBs" link in the upper left-hand corner of the Tracking Tab. Select 2013 -- or any other previous session -- from the drop down menu labeled "You are searching Session".
To access 2013 bills that you have saved to a folder, simply click on that folder from the left-hand side of any page. Then use the drop-down menu, located beside the "Bills" heading near the top of your screen, and select the appropriate Session.
Custom Bill Reports
All Custom Bill Reports saved in your account will remain defaulted to the Session assigned to them when first created. To edit a previously saved report to reflect information from the upcoming 2014 legislative session, select the "Edit" link corresponding to the report name. Then use the drop-down menu, located to the right of the "Report Name" field, to select Session 2014. Click the "Save Report" button when changes are complete.
All Web Publisher folders will operate normally. If you would like to add bills from the upcoming special session to your web publisher folder, please make sure that the folder does not contain bills from any other session.
